| The Indonesian film industry is growing with the emergence of many films
with the theme of social phenomena, one of which is sexual violence. This
research analyzes a movie about sexual violence, especially one that highlights
the trauma of sexual violence survivors. The film that is the object of this
research is entitled “27 Steps of May” was produced by Green Glow Pictures in
2019. This film tells about a woman named May as main character whose
traumatized by the incident of sexual violence she experienced in the past. |
