In the relationship between therapists and autistic children at the Pusat
Layanan Disabilitas dan Pendidikan Inklusi (PLDPI) Surakarta, the therapist uses
therapeutic communication stages in the therapy process to achieve the goals of the
therapeutic process at PLDPI Surakarta, namely increasing the ability to interact
and be independent of autistic children. Because autistic children have special
characteristics compared to normal children in general, in the process of
therapeutic communication, verbal communication and nonverbal communication
are also used. |
