Impression Management of originally developed by Goffman (1959). He
said that in the management of human impression has two sides, front and back
side. On the front side shown by doing things that can make himself liked by
others, While the back side is the personal side of that person, he will not show
the back side openly to others. Jones and Pittman (1982) made measuring tools of
impression management into five parts, ingratiation, self-promotion,
exemplification, intimidation and supplication. |
